Falling

Ever feel like your just free falling in life, where everything is just falling apart and you don't know where your going?

I've been reading the book of Ecclesiastes as part of my devotion lately, and Solomon talks about how everything is meaningless and empty in life. In the end, everyone will die, both the good and the wicked alike. Rather depressing to think about - that in the long run, everything that I will have done will disappear. Grades won't matter, money will run out, and diplomas will rot away just like any other ordinary piece of paper.

But I suppose I can take comfort in this too. The mistakes I make in my life won't matter and God won't judge me based on if I made a bad grade or the fact that I'm procrastinating on my work right now :P.

Life can be a big cluttered mess. It's up to us to sort out the good from the bad, and be thankful for the little things. We're all free falling in life when I think about it, and only we can control where we end up landing.

I hope I land in the right place.

London

Hellos hellos, its been a while since I've last updated b/c of exams and whatnot, but here I am now in London in a study abroad program!

So far London is a very interesting city. There's lots of sites to see and a lot history surrounding the city. What's even more interesting is the people there. There are some very unusual fashion styles, and no joke, I actually saw a guy dressed like in the illustration, except w/o the top hat. Funny folk, the Brits are.

Whew I'm tired! Its been only a week, but adjusting to city life has been somewhat difficult for me.
That's all for now. As the British say goodbye, cheerio!

Sick

Caught a bad cold recently. The bad thing about being sick is you get bored very easily. You can't do anything except lie around and wait for yourself to get better, otherwise doing anything that requires energy will just make you nauseous. :P

I think I caught it from the AO folk as of late. A lot of them were hacking away, I wouldn't be surprised it was the same thing I got from them.

Anywhoo, spring break has started! I guess I'll be spending the rest of it trying to get better. :)

Let it Snow

Snow snow there's something refreshing about snow. I can't believe this is like the third time this year it has snowed, talk about awesome!

Unfortunately, it didn't snow enough to cancel my midterm. Classes were just closed before 10:00 and my class was at 9:30. Our teacher decided to still give us the midterm, except a shortened version of it. I dunno how well I did, so we'll see. Kinda nervous about the results.

Otherwise, have fun in the snow! Who knows when it will be the next time? Too bad it's melting so quickly... :(

Rain

Tis raining now. I heard it's going to snow tomorrow. If that happens, my midterm might be canceled until later. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)
